THE POSITION
WEG is now seeking an outgoing experienced Business Development Manager with excellent records of Project Sales within foremost Medium Voltage motors, generators and drives, preferably in the Oil & Gas Industry.
The Business Development Manager should establish and implement a sales territory business plan in order to increase/develop a profitable customer base and grow sales of all WEG products throughout the area covered by WEG Scandinavia (Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland).You will be our main interface towards the market where your duties includes to seek and get new opportunities and projects. As back-up and support our colleagues at headquarters in both WEG Scandinavia and Brazil will support you in the best way possible.
As mentioned above, this position requires an extensive experience of Medium Voltage motors, generators and drives with focus on growth. In order to be successful you already have a broad network within this field of business, both with technical as well as purchasing decision makers.

THE CANDIDATE
To succeed in this position, you are technically skilled and have a Bachelor or Master of knowledge in electrical motors, electronics, mechanics, electric power or propulsion. You have a long and broad experience in marketing and selling products similar to WEG’s, preferably in the Oil &Gas and Marine sectors. We value your personality, but you must also have a strong drive and ability to create business and respond to customers in the best way. You are fluent in English and any Scandinavian language and have a basic knowledge of Windows Office. Frequent travel within Scandinavia is a natural part of the job.

EDUCATION
Technical education on a Bachelor/Master level combined with good knowledge in economics.
